MoneyMender uses Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to securely connect to your financial accounts. When you connect an account through Plaid, we may access:

  • Account balances

  • Account type and account metadata
  • Institutions linked

We do not see or store your banking credentials. Your login information is not shared with MoneyMender.

We never send raw bank credentials or sensitive authentication data to AI providers. We use AI processors only to provide personalized insights.

  • Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data
  • Secure secret storage for API keys
  • Enforced multi-factor authentication for administrative access
  • Logging and monitoring of access and system events

We take all reasonable measures to protect your information.

5How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information.

We may share information with:

  • Supabase (database + authentication)
  • Plaid (financial data connectivity)
  • OpenAI (AI-powered insights)

These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely.
